To learn and play with the Dynamic Simulations options in Cinema 4D, Chris Schmidt and I started playing with ways to have cars battle in Cinema 4D. Based on Hot Wheels and Crash Tests, these projects and renders were a way to get random results every time we rendered. Low poly modeling and simple lighting was used to allow these scenes to play near real time.
In some scenes, viewers would pick their favorite color and we would hit play to see what ones made it till the end.
In others, we just wanted to recreate a visual of hundreds of cars bashing into each other.
